About me
An insight into my life story
I was born on April 21, 1986, in the smaller industrial town of Soligorsk, Belarus. After the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, my family and I briefly resided in Russia before returning back to Belarus in 1992. During my time in Belarus, I pursued an education in multiple artistic disciplines, including painting, dance (ballet and folk dances), and music (button accordion and guitar), acquiring the necessary skills and experiences for my versatile artistic endeavors.
My passion and talent shine most prominently in painting and dance, where I have been honored with numerous awards at international competitions and festivals. In 1996, I became the world champion in folk dances, and my paintings have enjoyed success in subsequent years.
In 2000, I relocated to Prague to be with my mother and began focusing on 2D and 3D graphics, eventually branching into post-production. In 2003, I was admitted to the College of Communication Technology, where I studied film and television production. Throughout my studies, I gained practical and theoretical experiences, including internships at domestic TVs and studios. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for filmmaking, particularly in screenwriting, directing, and editing. Immediately after graduating, I embarked on various independent film projects that received recognition at esteemed film festivals, such as the National Film Festival NFT in Czech Republic, Independent Film Festival in Ebensee (Austria), Fresh Film Fest - Student Film Festival in Karlovy Vary, and B16 Film Festival - Brno Sixteen in Brno.
In 2018, I permanently moved to the UK. Currently, I work as a freelance director, producer, and video editor, specializing in film and TV production, music videos, commercials, and promotional videos. I am also working on my first screenplay for a feature film, which I plan to produce in collaboration with British and Czech film studios.
